Amlou Fruit Toast Platter

Ingredients

  • 4 slices good-quality sourdough or seeded bread, toasted
  • 6 tbsp Amlou Classic Harmony (or use Amlou Light Touch to reduce sugar)
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • 6-8 sliced strawberries or raspberries
  • 1 kiwi, peeled & sliced
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • A small handful of pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • Finely chopped pistachios (optional, for sprinkle)
  • Tiny drizzle of extra date syrup or honey (optional)

Method

  1. Toast the bread until golden and crisp.
  2. Spread ~1-2 tbsp Amlou generously on each slice. Leave one corner exposed to show texture.
  3. Arrange slices of blueberry, strawberry, kiwi and banana over the Amlou in a pleasing pattern.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pistachios and pomegranate seeds for texture.
  5. Finish with a light drizzle of date syrup (if using) and a quick grind of black pepper for an aromatic lift (optional).
  6. Serve immediately.
